Earliest pear onto the market from China. Very juicy, sweet, with a slight sour taste. Season short 2 months only.

Su Pear

Harvest Mid August, ship September
Su Pear, also known as the Honey pear. Skin is thicker than the Ya Pear – but core is less stringy. Taste pleasant and sweet. Similar to Nashi but not so stringent. Shelf life of 15 days when fruit is brought to room temperature. If store at 0c can last for months. Bagged = white, Un-bagged = green.

Golden Pear

Century Pear is the mother of Golden Pear. They are very similar. Has a refined thin skin, taste pleasant, slightly fragrant. Pigment freckles or small dots are visible over the skin. As the pear ripens the freckles become more prominent.
